Autoimmune diseases of the nervous system: a new word in neurology

On December 6, 2024, Almaty hosted a city scientific and practical conference on the topic "Autoimmune diseases of the nervous system", which brought together leading specialists, teachers and residents of medical universities. The event became a significant platform for the exchange of knowledge and discussion of modern approaches to the diagnosis and treatment of complex neurological diseases.

   On November 21-22, an educational event for leading regional neurologist experts “Diagnostic Attraction. Algorithms and practice of chronic polyneuropathy” was held at the largest scientific and medical institution providing high-tech medical care — the Almazov National Medical Research Center. 

TRANSTHYRETIN AMYLOID POLYNEUROPATHY. PROBLEMS OF DIAGNOSTICS, WAYS OF IMPLEMENTATION OF THE COMPLEX APPROACH FOR DETECTION OF ATTR-POLYNEUROPATHY

    On November 25, 2024, the Expert Council was held in Almaty on the topic "Transthyretin amyloid polyneuropathy. Problems of diagnostics, ways of implementing a comprehensive approach to identify ATTR polyneuropathy in patients and organizing effective clinical practice in Kazakhstan." The main goal of the expert council was to discuss the current situation in diagnostics, finding ways to develop and implement an optimal algorithm for managing patients with ATTR polyneuropathy.
